Hey there,
This past Saturday was my first ever Stampin' Up Open House and it was a HUGE success. In fact, it was such a huge success that I am going to do it again in February. Stay tuned for more information!
Now on to the last Open House....... I featured two make & takes. One was based on the Fun Fast notes set. I demonstrated how you can make cards for any occasion using this very versatile set, and how to colour a stamped image in using the Stampin' Pastels.
Products used:
Stampin' Up "Fun Fast Notes"
Stampin' Up Card stock- Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Bashful Blue
Designer Paper (SU)- Bashful Blue & Pink Pirouette
Stampin' Up Ink- Basic Black
Accessories- Stampin' Pastels, Blender Pens, 2-way Glue pen, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.
The second card was made using the Baroque Motifs set. I created what I call "Baroque Valentine". I wanted to show how you can make a Valentine's Card without hearts and without a Valentine set.
Products used:
Stampin' Up "Baroque Motifs" stamp set
Stampin' Up Card stock- Very Vanilla, Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red
Stampin' Up Ink- Chocolate Chip & Riding Hood Red
Accessories- Scallop Circle Punch
This is actually a very simple card. And my idea of a beautiful Valentine! Later I will show you how to step up this card and make it very very elegant!
And what would a Open House recap be with out pictures of the event and an official annoucement of the Door Prize winners!! Soooooooo without further ado..........................
The winners are:
